Hi there! My name is Rachel, I'm 26 years young and from the tropical land of er... Aberdeen.  I'm a HR ninja by day, and your typical girly-girl/foodie/car singer/phantom gym goer the rest of the time.

I love everything from fashion, food, photography and travelling (ideally somewhere I can whap out a member of my vast bikini collection), to walking my dogs or spending the night in with a bag of sweet 'n' salt popcorn and a good movie.

After years of reading various blog types and thinking "hmm, I'd quite like to start one but what would I say?", and of course worrying about what other people might think, I've finally decided to put my big-girl pants on and create The Forbes File as somewhere I can write about my interests and share general fashion, beauty and lifestyle thoughts and goings-on.
